Mid Season update

No doubt that Nicky Henderson , Tim Vaughaun and Barry Geraghty are the heroes of the season so far, with the villains being the form of Paul Nicholls hotpots, Jonjo, Sam Thomas and his unseats and the unbelievable way in which the Northern novice hurdles are run, half of the field are not off !!! I have to say that I still cant get winners from certain yards with Howard Johnson, Nigel Twiston Davies and Phillip Hobbs

Punting High - the wonderous day when Wilson Renwick had a treble at Sedgefield - number 4 would have been worth 20k !!!

Punting Low - not backing Kangaroo Court when it won, too busy working arghhhhhh

Horse to follow - Three horses for me on this list, Chaser - Trafford Lad , Hurdler - Numide on soft ground and handicapper getting lined up for a punt - Mat Hill

I think that my Cheltenham fancies would be -
Champion Hurdle - Sizing Europe
Stayers Hurdle - Kasbah Bliss
Queen Mother - Master Minded
Sun Alliance - Trafford Lad
Supreme - Mad Max

and remember that horses under 4/1 have a shocking record at the festival !!!
